With the win, Whittier Christian improves its record to 2-7 on the season. The Heralds host Brea Olinda (Brea, CA) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 3. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 3-2.
In their next game, the Sentinels encounter the Westminster Lions (Westminster, CA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 30. Magnolia will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Godinez Fundamental (Santa Ana, CA).
