The Montgomery Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Oak Ridge War Eagles to 0 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bears now have a 24-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mansfield for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. Montgomery will play a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 26-1.

With the loss, Oak Ridge drops to 16-5 on the campaign. The War eagles travel to Klein Cain (Houston, TX) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league game on Saturday, August 30. The Hurricanes go into the game with a record of 16-8. Klein Cain won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against London (Corpus Christi, TX)
