August 31, 2021: Lubbock, TX 79410 The Coronado Mustangs volleyball team (Lubbock, TX), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Randall Raiders (Amarillo, TX)
The Raiders (15-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 15-10 record.
Next, the Mustangs encounter the San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 3. Coronado will attempt to move on its 10-14 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Cooper (Abilene, TX).
Match Summary
Coronado improved every set versus the Randall Raiders but came up short of the win. 15-25, 17-25, 18-25. Caroline Willcoxon provided 11 kills during the 3 set match, while Madison Booe had 9 digs. The Lady Mustangs are looking forward to traveling to San Angelo Central this Friday.
