With the win, Artesia improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to confront the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, August 31. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-0. Los Lunas won 48-14 in their recent non-league test against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)
With the loss, Roswell moves to 1-2 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Lovington (Lovington, NM) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, September 7. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 0-0.
