The Draughn Wildcats topped the host Owen Warhorses volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Avery County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 5. Draughn will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Owen drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Warhorses travel to Mitchell (Bakersville, NC) to battle the Mountaineers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 5. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a record of 0-3. Mitchell lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Madison (Marshall, NC)
