In Thursday's league contest, the Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) softball team overwhelmed the host Dacula Falcons (Dacula, GA), by a margin of 16-1.

With the triumph, Mill Creek moves its record to 4-5 on the year. The Hawks travel to Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA) to play the Bears in a 7A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, September 5. The Bears come into the contest with a record of 7-4. Mountain View won 4-3 in their recent league contest against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA)
