Nebraska High School Softball - Fremont loses to Lincoln East
August 31, 2023: Lincoln, NE 68510 The Lincoln East Spartans softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Fremont Tigers to 3 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Lincoln East improves its record to 9-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Kearney (Kearney, NE) to clash with the Bearcats in a A District game on Tuesday, September 5. The Bearcats come into the game with a record of 7-5. Kearney won 6-0 in their recent non-league game against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Marian Crusaders (Omaha, NE) in a non-league game, on Saturday, September 2. Fremont will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Crusaders come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 3-2 league loss to Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE).
