August 31, 2023: Wilburton, OK 74578 Wilburton Diggers (Wilburton, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Quinton Savages (Quinton, OK), 9-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Diggers now sport a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they host Canadian for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 4. Wilburton will face a Cougars squad coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Savanna (Savanna, OK). The Cougars record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, Quinton falls to 3-10 on the campaign. The Savages host McCurtain (McCurtain, OK) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 7. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 14-13.
