August 31, 2023: Cornell, WI 54732 Cornell Chiefs (Cornell, WI) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting New Auburn Trojans (New Auburn, WI), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Chiefs clash with the Birchwood Bobcats (Birchwood, WI) in a Lakeland - East match, on Tuesday, September 5. Cornell will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Siren (Siren, WI).
With the loss, New Auburn drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Lake Holcombe (Holcombe, WI) to clash with the Chieftains in a Lakeland - East match on Tuesday, September 5. The Chieftains come into the match with a record of 0-4. Lake Holcombe lost 3-2 in their recent league match against Flambeau (Tony, WI)
