Georgia High School Volleyball - Union County tips Hiwassee Dam

August 31, 2023: Blairsville, GA 30512

The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) and the visiting Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC), saw Union County's volleyball squad nip Hiwassee Dam by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Panthers travel to Woodstock (Woodstock, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Woodstock won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Dacula (Dacula, GA)

The Eagles now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Copper Basin for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Hiwassee Dam will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-3.
