The Lamar Raiders topped the visiting Simpson Academy Cougars volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Raiders now have a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 5.

The Cougars (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Pillow Academy (Greenwood, MS). The Mustangs enter the non-league test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Pillow Academy was knocked off by Regents (Oxford, MS), 3-0, in a league test.
