August 31, 2024: Pikeville, KY 41501 Johnson Central Golden Eagles (Paintsville, KY) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Pikeville Panthers (Pikeville, KY), 37-15 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Johnson Central advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Belfry (Belfry, KY) to play the Pirates in a non-league battle on Friday, September 6. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Belfry lost 43-35 in their recent non-league battle against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY)
