August 31, 2024: Damascus, MD 20872 The Blake Bengals football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Damascus Hornets to 7 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bengals now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whitman for a non-league test on Friday, September 6. Blake will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 14-6 non-league loss to Bowie (Bowie, MD). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Damascus drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Einstein (Kensington, MD) to meet the Titans in a non-league test on Friday, September 6. The Titans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
