In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Terrell Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the MacArthur Cardinals.

The Tigers (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 10-10 record. In their last challenge, Creekview was nudged by Lamar (Arlington, TX), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Denison Yellow Jackets (Denison, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX).
