The Southwestern Warriors volleyball squad (Somerset, KY), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Marion County Knights (Lebanon, KY)

With the win, Marion County improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Knights travel to Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY) to encounter the Cardinals in a District 20 battle on Tuesday, September 3. The Cardinals go into the battle with a record of 5-1. Taylor County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY)

The Warriors now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host McCreary Central for a District 48 battle on Thursday, September 5.
