Iowa High School Volleyball - Rockford tips Newman Catholic
August 31, 2024: Rockford, IA 50468 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Rockford Warriors volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Newman Catholic Knights.
The Warriors (5-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Riceville (Riceville, IA). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Riceville was tipped by Waukon (Waukon, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Knights meet the North Butler Bearcats (Greene, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. Newman Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 2-1 league win over South Hamilton (Jewell, IA).
