With the win, Pearland improves its record to 22-4 on the season. The Oilers travel to Alvin (Alvin, TX) to encounter the Yellowjackets in a 6A Region III District 22 battle on Tuesday, September 3. The Yellowjackets go into the battle with a record of 4-15. Alvin lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Stony Point (Round Rock, TX)
