August 5, 2023: Jackson, MS 39203 New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Lanier Bulldogs (Jackson, MS), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Trojans battle the Belmont Cardinals (Belmont, MS) in a non-league match, on Saturday, August 5. New Hope will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS).
With the loss, Lanier drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Callaway (Jackson, MS) to battle the Chargers in a non-league match on Tuesday, August 8. The Chargers come into the match with a record of 0-1. Callaway lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Murrah (Jackson, MS)
