Oklahoma High School Softball - Bartlesville holds off Choctaw
August 7, 2023: Bartlesville, OK 74003 Bartlesville Bruins (Bartlesville, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Choctaw Yellowjackets (Choctaw, OK), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bruins now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Edmond Santa Fe for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 8. Bartlesville will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Blanchard (Blanchard, OK). The Wolves record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Choctaw falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Cache (Cache, OK) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 10. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-0. Cache won 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Chickasha (Chickasha, OK)
