August 7, 2025: Mayfield, KY 42066 Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Mayfield moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Murray (Murray, KY) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Monday, August 18. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-1.
The Colonels now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Franklin-Simpson for a non-league test on Monday, August 11.
