August 7, 2025: Gainesville, GA 30501 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA) and the visiting Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA), observed Gainesville's volleyball team top Gilmer by a count of 2-0.
The Red Elephants (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Flowery Branch notched a victory over Rabun County (Tiger, GA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Bobcats battle the Dalton Catamounts (Dalton, GA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 12. Gilmer will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Catamounts enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Coahulla Creek (Dalton, GA).
