August 8, 2024: Commerce, GA 30529 The Commerce Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Johnson Knights to 0 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tigers now have a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson County for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 10. Commerce will play a Panthers team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Johnson drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Knights host Franklin County (Carnesville, GA) to play the Lions in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 13. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 1-1. Franklin County won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Elbert County (Elberton, GA)
