August 8, 2024: Pelahatchie, MS 39145 Pelahatchie Chiefs (Pelahatchie, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Forest Bearcats (Forest, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pelahatchie improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Chiefs host Puckett (Puckett, MS) to face the Wolves in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 13. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 0-2. Puckett lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Newton County (Decatur, MS)
The Bearcats now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Raleigh for a non-league test on Monday, August 12. Forest will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
