The Steele Comets volleyball team (Amherst, OH), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH)

The Shoremen (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Medina (Medina, OH). The Battling Bees come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Medina nudged Aurora (Aurora, OH), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
