The Lowellville Rockets held off the host Western Reserve Blue Devils volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Rockets now have a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mineral Ridge for a test on Tuesday, September 6.

The Blue Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 4-2 record.
