September 1, 2022: Forest Park, GA 30297 The Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) softball routed the host Forest Park Panthers (Forest Park, GA), 13-4 in Thursday's league bout.
The Wildcats (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The Tigers go into the 6A Region 3 bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Mundy's Mill was routed by Woodward Academy (College Park, GA), 15-0, in a league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Woodward Academy for a 6A Region 3 bout on Tuesday, September 6. Forest Park will confront a War Eagles squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
