The Eagles now have a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tyler for a non-league test on Thursday, September 1. Canton will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Spring Hill (Longview, TX). The Lions record now stands at 11-10.

The Bulldogs (3-14) will now prepare for their test against Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Buckeyes enter the non-league test with a 9-14 record. In their last test, Gilmer gained a win over Harmony (Big Sandy, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
