Maine High School Soccer - Erskine Academy nudges Winslow
September 1, 2023: South China, ME 04358 The Erskine Academy Eagles (South China, ME) soccer nipped the visiting Winslow Black Raiders (Winslow, ME), 3-2 in Friday's league bout.
With the victory, Erskine Academy moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Eagles travel to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME) to confront the Tigers in a Class B - North bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Tigers enter the bout with a record of 1-0. Gardiner won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Leavitt (Turner, ME)
In their next game, the Black Raiders confront the Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 16. Winslow will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
