With the triumph, Newport improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Winnisquam (Tilton, NH) to confront the Bears in a Division IV test on Saturday, September 17. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-0. Winnisquam won 20-13 in their recent league test against Bishop Brady (Concord, NH)
With the loss, Mascoma drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Royals host Somersworth (Somersworth, NH) to confront the Toppers in a Division IV test on Saturday, September 17. The Toppers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Somersworth won 47-0 in their recent league test against Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH)
