New Hampshire High School Football - Newfound Regional crushed by Newport
September 24, 2022: Newport, NH 03773 Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) fans left the game content Saturday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH), 35-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Newport improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Somersworth (Somersworth, NH) to confront the Toppers in a Division IV test on Friday, September 30. The Toppers come into the test with a record of 3-0. Somersworth won 43-6 in their recent league test against Franklin (Franklin, NH)
With the loss, Newfound Regional drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Bears host Bishop Brady (Concord, NH) to confront the Giants in a Division IV battle on Saturday, October 1. The Giants go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Bishop Brady won 55-6 in their recent league battle against Mascoma (Canaan, NH)
