September 10, 2024: Goldsboro, NC 27530 The Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) volleyball held off the host Rosewood Eagles (Goldsboro, NC), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Neuse Charter for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 12. Hobbton will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over North Duplin (Calypso, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Rosewood drops to 2-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Union (Rose Hill, NC) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 12. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 1-5.
