September 10, 2024: Newport, WA 99156 Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Reardan Screaming Eagles (Reardan, WA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Newport improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Chewelah (Chewelah, WA) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-2. Chewelah lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Northport (Northport, WA)
The Screaming Eagles now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Roosevelt for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12.
