New York High School Soccer - Wayne knocks off Geneva
September 10, 2024: Geneva, NY 14456 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY) and the host Geneva Panthers (Geneva, NY), saw Wayne's soccer squad knock off Geneva by a count of 4-1.
The Eagles (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Midlakes (Clifton Springs, NY). The Screaming Eagles enter the Finger Lakes - East battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Midlakes tipped Waterloo (Waterloo, NY), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Panthers battle the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 12. Geneva will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 4-0 league win over Marion (Marion, NY).
