North Carolina High School Volleyball - Queen's Grant tips Carolina International
September 10, 2024: Concord, NC 28027 The Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) volleyball held off the host Carolina International Comets (Concord, NC), 3-2 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Stallions now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Langtree Charter for a non-league game on Friday, September 13. Queen's Grant will face a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC). The Lions record now stands at 3-5.
The Comets (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Jackson Day (Charlotte, NC). The Mariners go into the Metro Eight 1A game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Jackson Day was edged by Gray Stone Day (Misenheimer, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
