September 10, 2024: Jasper, GA 30143

The Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) volleyball held off the visiting Dawson County Tigers (Dawsonville, GA), 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Dragons now possess a 16-10 record. They play next when they travel to Trion for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 12. Pickens will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Dawson County drops to 8-16 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to White County (Cleveland, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a 3A Area 6 bout on Tuesday, September 10. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 19-5. White County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Morgan County (Madison, GA)
