September 10, 2025: Tawas City, MI 48763 The Tawas Area Braves (Tawas City, MI) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Crossroads Charter Academy Cougars (Big Rapids, MI), 9-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.
The Braves now hold a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northern Michigan Christian for a Northern Michigan - West contest on Tuesday, September 16. Tawas Area will battle a Comets team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Alcona (Lincoln, MI). The Comets record now stands at 6-2.
The Cougars (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeview (Lakeview, MI). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Lakeview topped Reed City (Reed City, MI), 5-0, in a league challenge.
