Michigan High School Soccer - Holland Christian nudges Spring Lake
September 10, 2025: Holland, MI 49423 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Holland Christian Maroons (Holland, MI) and the visiting Spring Lake Lakers (Spring Lake, MI), saw Holland Christian's soccer squad hold off Spring Lake by a count of 2-1.
The Maroons (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Zeeland West (Zeeland, MI). The Dux enter the non-league battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Zeeland West was tipped by Holland (Holland, MI), 2-0, in a league match.
The Lakers now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Zeeland East for a non-league match on Monday, September 15. Spring Lake will meet a Chix team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Covenant Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Chix record now stands at 1-8.
