Georgia High School Softball - Portal bounces Dublin
September 10, 2025: Portal, GA 30450 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league game between the Portal Panthers (Portal, GA) and the visiting Dublin Fighting Irish (Dublin, GA), saw Portal's softball squad nip Dublin by a score of 10-5.
With the triumph, Portal betters its record to 6-6 on the season. The Panthers host Claxton (Claxton, GA) to confront the Tigers in a 1A D-II Region 3 match on Thursday, September 11. The Tigers come into the match with a record of 2-6. Claxton lost 7-2 in their recent league match against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA)
In their next game, the Fighting Irish confront the East Laurens Falcons (East Dublin, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Dublin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 12-2 record after their 15-0 league win over Northeast (Macon, GA).
