California High School Volleyball - Vistamar over Hawthorne Math & Science Academy
September 10, 2025: Hawthorne, CA 90250 Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Vistamar Vikings (El Segundo, CA) and the host Hawthorne Math & Science Academy Aviators (Hawthorne, CA), saw Vistamar's volleyball squad top Hawthorne Math & Science Academy by a count of 3-0.
The Vikings (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wildwood (Los Angeles, CA). The Wolves enter the Coastal contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Wildwood was knocked off by California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Aviators meet the New Roads Jaguars (Santa Monica, CA) in a Coastal battle, on Friday, September 12. Hawthorne Math & Science Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Jaguars go into the battle with a 8-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Rolling Hills Prep (San Pedro, CA).
