September 11, 2023: Moweaqua, IL 62550 In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Central A & M Raiders.
The Broncos (14-2) will now prepare for their battle against Arcola (Arcola, IL). The Purple Riders come into the Lincoln Prairie battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Arcola lost by Unity Christian (Decatur, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Raiders encounter the Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL) in a Central Illinois battle, on Thursday, September 14. Central A & M will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Hawks come into the battle with a 5-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (Cowden, IL).
