Illinois High School Volleyball - Okaw Valley can't hold off Central A & M
October 9, 2023: Moweaqua, IL 62550 In Monday's non-league battle, the host Central A & M Raiders volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Okaw Valley Timberwolves.
The Raiders (6-17) will now prepare for their battle against Clinton (Clinton, IL). The Maroons come into the Central Illinois battle with a 8-17 record. In their last battle, Clinton nudged MacArthur (Decatur, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Timberwolves clash with the Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie battle, on Tuesday, October 10. Okaw Valley will attempt to advance on its 11-15 season record. The Purple Riders come into the battle with a 11-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Cumberland (Toledo, IL).
