September 11, 2023: Locust Fork, AL 35097 Hanceville Bulldogs (Hanceville, AL) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Locust Fork Hornets (Locust Fork, AL), 2-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Good Hope Raiders (Cullman, AL) in a 4A Area 12 match, on Tuesday, September 12. Hanceville will attempt to advance on its 4-14 season record. The Raiders come into the match with a 22-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Cordova (Cordova, AL).
With the loss, Locust Fork drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Southeastern (Remlap, AL) to clash with the Mustangs in a 2A Area 12 match on Tuesday, September 12.
