New Jersey High School Volleyball - Raritan edged by St. John-Vianney
September 11, 2023: Hazlet, NJ 07730 The St. John-Vianney Lancers held off the host Raritan Rockets volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's league test.
The Lancers now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Bank Catholic for a Shore B - North test on Wednesday, September 13. St. John-Vianney will confront a Caseys team coming off a 2-0 league win over Red Bank Regional (Little Silver, NJ). The Caseys record now stands at 3-0.
The Rockets (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets enter the Shore B - North test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Holmdel was nudged by Middletown South (Middletown, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league test.
