North Carolina High School Soccer - Western Guilford toppled by Atkins
September 11, 2024: Winston-Salem, NC 27101 Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Atkins advances its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Camels host Glenn (Kernersville, NC) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 24. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 2-2.
The Hornets now have a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they host Randleman for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Western Guilford will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 0-5.
