Virginia High School Football - Fleming can't hold off Salem
September 11, 2025: Salem, VA 24153 Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), 20-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Salem advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA) to play the Bruins in a non-league match on Thursday, September 25. The Bruins come into the match with a record of 2-1.
