New Mexico High School Soccer - Santa Teresa knocks off Carlsbad
September 11, 2025: Carlsbad, NM 88221 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Santa Teresa Desert Warriors soccer squad scored a tight 7-2 win over the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls.
The Desert Warriors (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Lovington (Lovington, NM). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Lovington was overwhelmed by Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM), 3-2, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cavemen/Cavegirls play the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 13. Carlsbad will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 2-2 non-league Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM).
