September 13, 2025: Carlsbad, NM 88221 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls (Carlsbad, NM) and the visiting Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM), saw Carlsbad's soccer squad hold off Lovington by a score of 3-2.
With the triumph, Carlsbad moves its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Cavemen/Cavegirls host Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM) to confront the Bulldawgs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Bulldawgs enter the outing with a record of 3-1. Las Cruces won 4-0 in their recent non-league outing against Clovis (Clovis, NM)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 15. Lovington will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
