East Carteret Mariners (Beaufort, NC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, East Carteret advances its record to 5-5 on the season. The Mariners host Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC) to play the Devilpups in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. The Devilpups come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Lejeune lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC)
