The Mount St. Mary Rockets overwhelmed the host Western Heights Jets softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Rockets meet the Bridge Creek Bobcats (Blanchard, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Mount St. Mary will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the challenge with a 13-14 record after their 7-1 league win over Chickasha (Chickasha, OK).
