The Oak Ridge Wildcats volleyball squad (Oak Ridge, TN), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN)

With the win, Anderson County improves its record to 8-7 on the season. The Mavericks host Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN) to encounter the Hawks in a non-league contest on Monday, September 15. The Hawks enter the contest with a record of 9-6. Hardin Valley Academy lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA)
